Thanks for checking out my blog my name is Mike stitch and I am an aquarium builder have been since 1967. I build aquariums for large corporations doctors and the generally wealthy but in my spare time I work on do-it-yourself projects to help regular aquarium keepers build equipment under budget that is usually better than what you can buy at the pet store. Did you know that you can build a DIY aquarium from plywood? Even a tank thats 1000 gallons and will last for 10+ years! Not to mention all the diy equipment such as filters, tanks, canopys, lighting and stands. These are just an example of all the coming diy aquarium projects that I worked on the past that I'll be sharing here on the site stay tuned and keep an eye open Im jstu getting the photos and videos worked out so that everything looks good and is easy to use. Thats the idea after all, easy cheap and better aquarium equipment.
Remember Lowes/Home Depot are you new best friend. Allmost all the parts used in the coming tutorials can be purchsed there for pennies on the dollar compared to specialty fish shop. I cant believe im saying this but Lowes = The Diy aquarist's best friend.
